What it is
Whether you’re having problems in your relationship or you’d just like to understand your partner better, talking things through with one of our counsellors can make a real difference.
Relationship Counselling is for everyone. Whether you’re married, single, living together or apart, straight or gay we can help you strengthen your relationships.
How it helps
Our counsellors provide a caring and supportive space to help find a way through any difficulties you may be facing in your relationship. Watch this video clip below which shows how relationship counselling can help.
What to expect
The first step is to make an appointment with us. We will arrange an initial appointment at a time to suit you either face to face or online. At the first session of up to 60 minutes, the counsellor will ask some questions about you and your partner and what you hope to get out of the counselling. We can then decide if we can help you. We will want to see you individually for a session each to find out how you feel about your relationship in a confidential non-judgmental space. If you find it difficult to talk about your feelings or emotions, the counsellor may use visual cues or mapping to help you to clarify your thoughts.
