On 13th September, at the River Barn in Walton-on-Thames, Deputy Lieutenant Rob Douglas presented Relate West Surrey with a Lieutenancy Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the Surrey Lieutenancy. About The Surrey Lieutenancy: HM The Queen appoints a Lord-Lieutenant to be her personal representative in each county of the United Kingdom. Michael More-Molyneux is the current Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey. He is assisted by the Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Sir Stephen Lamport GCVO DL, and currently by 46 other Deputy Lieutenants. The Lord-Lieutenant assists the Royal Household in any matters it requires in relation to the county of Surrey. Equally, he is the chief link between the Monarch and her people in Surrey.
